Expand description

This is an alternative to ScanObjects that calls the post_scan_object of the policy selected by the plan. It is applicable to plans that derive PlanTraceObject.

Fields§

§plan: &'static P§buffer: Vec<ObjectReference>§concurrent: bool§phantom: PhantomData<E>§bucket: WorkBucketStage

Implementations§

pub fn new( plan: &'static P, buffer: Vec<ObjectReference>, concurrent: bool, bucket: WorkBucketStage ) -> Self

Trait Implementations§

source§

impl<E: ProcessEdgesWork, P: Plan<VM = E::VM> + PlanTraceObject<E::VM>> GCWork<<E as ProcessEdgesWork>::VM> for PlanScanObjects<E, P>

source§

fn do_work(&mut self, worker: &mut GCWorker<E::VM>, mmtk: &'static MMTK<E::VM>)

Define the work for this packet. However, this is not supposed to be called directly. Usually do_work_with_stat() should be used. Read more
source§

fn do_work_with_stat( &mut self, worker: &mut GCWorker<VM>, mmtk: &'static MMTK<VM> )

Do work and collect statistics. This internally calls do_work(). In most cases, this should be called rather than do_work() so that MMTk can correctly collect statistics for the work packets. If the feature “work_packet_stats” is not enabled, this call simply forwards the call to do_work().
source§

fn get_type_name(&self) -> &'static str

Get the compile-time static type name for the work packet.
source§

impl<E: ProcessEdgesWork, P: Plan<VM = E::VM> + PlanTraceObject<E::VM>> ScanObjectsWork<<E as ProcessEdgesWork>::VM> for PlanScanObjects<E, P>

§

type E = E

The associated ProcessEdgesWork for processing the outgoing edges of the objects in this packet.
source§

fn get_bucket(&self) -> WorkBucketStage

Return the work bucket for this work packet and its derived work packets.
source§

fn post_scan_object(&self, object: ObjectReference)

Called after each object is scanned.
source§

fn do_work_common( &self, buffer: &[ObjectReference], worker: &mut GCWorker<<Self::E as ProcessEdgesWork>::VM>, mmtk: &'static MMTK<<Self::E as ProcessEdgesWork>::VM> )

The common code for ScanObjects and PlanScanObjects.

where T: Any,

§

fn into_any(self: Box<T>) -> Box<dyn Any>
